Always You

After my fiancé, my daughter’s mother, walked out on us, Charlotte Duvall was there. She’s my best friend, my sidekick, and I can’t imagine my life without her. She’s been my ride-or-die since we were little, but now she’s leaving and there’s nothing I can do to stop her.
Weston Banks is my best friend, my confidant. When his ex walked out on him and Hadley, I stayed close to help him try and pick up the pieces. I love that little girl like she’s my own and I’ve never considered a life without either of them in it. Well, that was true until I got an offer for my dream job—a position as an editor at Indie Ink Publishing. Now I have to make a choice. Do I stay here or do I take a chance to live out my dream in New York City?
A roller coaster of emotions hits me when Charlie announces her decision to strike out on her own. Now it’s a race against the clock. Do I tell her how I really feel about her or do I let her walk away?
